The 2011 Riverfest Photography Contest is almost upon us!
These Briefing Sessions are intended to help you know what to shoot and how to shoot it during Riverfest to increase your chances of winning. There are two sessions available so be sure to register for one soon (more may become available if demand merits). If you can attend one of these sessions, you'll get some professional tips and insights into what Wichita Festivals, Inc. is most interested in seeing. Since the judging is done by Wichita Festivals, Inc., this information is like getting the key to the city. With any luck, we will also have some of the judges available during these sessions to give you clues about what to shoot for the best results in the contest.
Your entries in the past have been great images that have created an impressive collection of photos. Today, about 95% of the images used in the Riverfest Catalog are the work of contest participants. This year we look forward to seeing more and even better photos than ever before, and we're confident that you're able to deliver. So get ready to participate again and be sure to keep your eyes open for the rules and entry form, and more details as they become available.
We appreciate your entries from prior years and look forward to seeing you and your great images again this year.
Refreshments will be served and we are charging a small fee this year to avoid wide-spread no-shows.
